With backgrounds in both fine art and commercial photography, my eyes are quick to find the perfect balance of technical mastery and creative freedom. My goal as a creative on set is to produce a warm, collaborative experience for everyone.

Whether working with a team or on my own, seeing the client’s product or idea come to life - even better than they imagined - is so fulfilling!

Understanding a brand or product and translating it’s functions and purpose into an emotionally-striking visual representation is such a fun challenge. Problem solving and paying attention to the finest details is something I particularly enjoy. Many times, the smallest details are the most important, and can transform a good shot into a fantastic shot!

Background

BFA, Art Academy of Cincinnati

2010 - 2014
I interned in both fine art and commercial roles, which gave me a diverse education and perspective in all sides of photography. All while also working as a darkroom and print lab monitor at the AAC, and working as a freelance photographer on the side.

Photographer, Wayfair

2014 - 2016
Fall 2014, I started working as a photographer shooting countless product silos, lifestyles, and hero images. I worked directly under the senior stylists and photographers, learning how to style, build, light, and shoot my own sets.

Photographer, OMS + P&G

2016 - Current
I was hired by OMS Photo to open and run an onsite photo studio at the P&G Mason Business Center. After the pandemic, I moved to the main OMS studio in Northside, where I shoot, style and create sets for every type of commercial photography out there!

Adjunct Professor, AAC

September 2020
The college I earned my BFA from hired me to teach an Intro to Lightroom and Product Photography course. It was an amazing feeling to make a full circle back to the place where my photography education and career started!
